Rev 1:1 The REVELATION of Jesus Christ, which God gave him, to shew to his servants things which must shortly come to pass; this he signified by his angel whom he dispatch'd to his servant John:
Rev 1:2 who publish'd the divine message, and gave his attestation to every thing that he saw concerning Jesus Christ.
Rev 1:3 Happy is he that reads, and attends to the words of this prophecy, and observes the matter therein contain'd: for the time draws nigh.
Rev 1:4 JOHN to the seven churches which are in Asia: favour and peace be with you from him WHO IS, WHO WAS, WHO WILL BE; and from the seven spirits who are before his throne;
Rev 1:5 and from Jesus Christ, who is the faithful witness, the first-born of the dead, and the prince of the kings of the earth: unto him that loved us, and washed us from our sins by his own blood,
Rev 1:6 who hath made us kings and priests to his God and father; to him be glory and dominion for ever and ever. Amen.
Rev 1:7 See! he is coming on the clouds; and every eye shall see him, even they who pierced him: then all the tribes of the earth will smite their breasts at the sight: even so it will be.
Rev 1:8 I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end, saith the Lord, who is, and who was, and who will be, the almighty.
Rev 1:9 I JOHN, who am your brother, and partake in the tribulation, in the reign, and in the patience of Jesus Christ, was in the isle called Patmos, for the word of God, and for the testimony I gave of Jesus Christ.
Rev 1:10 there I was in an exstacy on the Lord's day, and heard behind me a loud voice, like the sound of a trumpet,
Rev 1:11 saying, "I am Alpha and Omega, the first and the last: and, what you shall see, write in a book, and send it to the seven churches which are in Asia; to Ephesus, to Smyrna, to Pergamos, to Thyatira, to Sardis, to Philadelphia, and to Laodicea."
Rev 1:12 and I turned to see from whence the voice came that spake to me. and turning about, I saw seven golden candlesticks;
Rev 1:13 and in the midst of the seven candlesticks, one who resembled the son of man, cloathed with a garment down to the foot, and girt below the breast with a girdle of gold.
Rev 1:14 his head and his hairs were white like wool, as white as snow; and his eyes were as a flame of fire; his feet were like fine brass,
Rev 1:15 when glowing in a furnace; and his voice as the sound of many waters.
Rev 1:16 in his right hand he held seven stars: out of his mouth went a sharp two-edged sword, and his countenance was as the sun shining in his full glory.
Rev 1:17 as soon as I saw him, I fell at his feet as dead: but he laid his right hand upon me, and said, "Fear not; I am the first and the last:
Rev 1:18 I am he that liveth; I was dead; but now you see I am alive for all eternity, amen; and I have the keys of the grave, and of death."
Rev 1:19 write what you have seen, the things which are, and the things which shall be hereafter.
Rev 1:20 the conceal'd meaning of the seven stars which you saw in my right hand, and of the seven golden candlesticks, is this: the seven stars signify the angels of the seven churches: and the seven candlesticks which you saw, signify the seven churches.
Rev 2:1 To the angel of the church of Ephesus, write, "HE that holds the seven stars in his right hand, who walks in the midst of the seven golden candlesticks, says thus,
Rev 2:2 I know thy works, thy labour, and thy patience, and that thou canst not bear those who are evil: thou hast tried those who say they are apostles, but are not; and hast found them lyars:
Rev 2:3 thou hast suffer'd, hast patience, for my name's sake thou hast laboured, and hast not fainted.
Rev 2:4 nevertheless, I have somewhat against thee, because thou hast left thy first love.
Rev 2:5 remember therefore from whence thou art fallen, and repent, and do the first works; or else I will come unto thee quickly, and will remove thy candlestick out of his place except thou repent.
Rev 2:6 but in this thou art right, that thou hatest the deeds of the Nicolaitans, which I also hate.
Rev 2:7 he that hath an ear, let him hear what the spirit saith to the churches, to him that overcometh will I give to eat of the tree of life, which is in the paradise of my God."
Rev 2:8 And to the angel of the church in Smyrna, write, "THESE things saith the first and last, who was dead, and is alive."
Rev 2:9 "I know thy works, thy tribulation and poverty (tho' thou art rich) and I know the blasphemy of those who say they are Jews, and are not, but are the synagogue of satan.
Rev 2:10 fear none of those things which thou shalt suffer: behold, the devil shall cast some of you into prison, that ye may be tried; and ye shall have tribulation ten days: be thou faithful unto death, and I will give thee a crown of life.
Rev 2:11 he that hath an ear, let him hear what the spirit saith to the churches, he that overcometh, shall not be hurt by the second death."
Rev 2:12 And to the angel of the church in Pergamos, write, "THESE things, saith he, who hath the sharp sword with two edges,
Rev 2:13 I know thy works, and where thou dwellest, even where the throne of satan is: thou maintainest my name, and hast not renounced your faith in me, even at a time when Antipas my faithful martyr was slain among you, where Satan dwells.
Rev 2:14 but I have a few things against thee, because thou hast there those that hold the doctrine of Balaam, who counselled Balac to ensnare the children of Israel, to eat things sacrificed to idols, and to commit fornication.
Rev 2:15 you have likewise those that hold the doctrine of the Nicolaitans, which I hate.
Rev 2:16 repent; or else I will come unto thee quickly, and will fight against them with the sword of my mouth.
Rev 2:17 he that hath an ear, let him hear what the spirit saith unto the churches: to him that overcometh, will I give to eat of the hidden manna, and will give him a white stone, and in the stone a new name written, which no man understands, except he that receives it."
Rev 2:18 And unto the angel of the church in Thyatira, write, "THESE things saith the son of God, whose eyes are like a flame of fire, and his feet like fine brass; I know thy works,
Rev 2:19 your charitable offices, your faith, and your patience, and that your last works exceed the first.
Rev 2:20 notwithstanding, I have a few things against thee, because thou sufferest that woman Jezabel, who stiles herself a prophetess, and teaches and seduces my servants to commit fornication, and to eat things sacrificed to idols.
Rev 2:21 I gave her space to repent of her fornication, but she repented not.
Rev 2:22 behold, I will confine her to her bed, and those that commit adultery with her I will severely afflict, except they repent of their actions.
Rev 2:23 I will strike her children dead; and all the churches shall know that I am he who searcheth the reins and the heart: and I will give to every one of you according to your works.
Rev 2:24 but I say to the rest that are in Thyatira, who do not follow this doctrine, and have not been initiated in the depths, as they are called, of satan, I will put upon you no other burden, but what you have:
Rev 2:25 hold that fast till I come.
Rev 2:26 he that overcometh, and keepeth my works unto the end, to him will I give power over the nations:
Rev 2:27 he shall rule them with a rod of iron: as the vessels of a potter shall they be broken to shivers, according to the power I have received of my father.
Rev 2:28 I will even give him the lustre of the morning-star.
Rev 2:29 he that hath an ear, let him hear what the spirit saith to the churches."
Rev 3:1 And unto the angel of the church in Sardis, write, "THESE things saith he that hath the seven spirits of God and the seven stars; I know thy works, that thou hast the reputation of being alive, but art dead.
Rev 3:2 be watchful, and fortify the rest that are ready to die: for I have not found thy works perfect before God.
Rev 3:3 remember therefore what thou hast received and heard: observe it and repent. if therefore thou art not vigilant, I will come upon thee as a thief, thou shalt not know what hour I will come upon thee.
Rev 3:4 thou hast a few persons in Sardis who have not defiled their garments; they shall walk with me in white: for they are worthy.
Rev 3:5 he that overcometh, the same shall be cloathed in white raiment; I will not efface his name out of the book of life, but I will own him before my father, and before his angels.
Rev 3:6 he that hath an ear, let him hear what the spirit saith unto the churches."
Rev 3:7 And to the angel of the church in Philadelphia, write, "THESE things saith He that is holy, He that is true, He that hath the key of David, He that openeth what no man can shut; and shutteth what no man can open:
Rev 3:8 I know thy works: behold, I have set before thee an open door, and no man can shut it: for tho' few in number, you have kept my word, and have not renounced my name.
Rev 3:9 you shall see I will make those of the synagogue of satan, who say they are Jews, and are not, but do lye: you shall see I will make them come, and throw themselves at your feet, and they shall know that you are the objects of my love.
Rev 3:10 because you have kept my precept about patience, I also will keep you in the time of persecution, which shall happen to all the world, to try the inhabitants of the earth.
Rev 3:11 behold, I come quickly: hold that fast which you have, let no man take your crown.
Rev 3:12 him that overcomes, will I make a pillar in the temple of my God, and he shall go out no more: I will write upon him the name of my God, and the name of the city of my God, which is new Jerusalem, which descends from heaven from my God: even my new name will I write.
Rev 3:13 he that hath an ear, let him hear what the spirit saith unto the churches."
Rev 3:14 And unto the angel of the church of the Laodiceans, write, "these things saith the AMEN, the faithful and true witness, the beginning of the creation of God;
Rev 3:15 I know thy works, that thou art neither cold nor hot: I would thou wert cold or hot.
Rev 3:16 but since thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spue thee out of my mouth.
Rev 3:17 you say you are rich, and have increased your gain, and have need of nothing; but you do not consider that you are wretched, miserable, poor, blind, and naked.
Rev 3:18 I counsel thee to purchase of me gold tried in the fire, that thou mayst be rich; and white raiment, that thou mayst be cloathed, and that the shame of thy nakedness may not appear; and an ointment for thine eyes to make you see clear.
Rev 3:19 as many as I love, I rebuke and chastise: be warm therefore with zeal, and repent.
Rev 3:20 behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, I will sup with him, and he shall afterwards be entertain'd by me.
Rev 3:21 to him that overcometh will I grant to sit with me in my throne, even as I also overcame, and am set down with my father in his throne.
Rev 3:22 he that hath an ear, let him hear what the spirit saith unto the churches.
Rev 4:1 At another time I had a vision, when I saw a door was opened in heaven: and the first voice which I heard talking to me, was like the sound of a trumpet; which said, "come up hither, and I will shew thee things which must be hereafter."
Rev 4:2 Immediately I was in an extasy: and I saw a throne placed in heaven, and one sitting on the throne.
Rev 4:3 he that sat, appear'd to the sight, like a jasper, and a sardine stone: and there was an arch like a rain-bow, round about the throne, which had the appearance of an emerald.
Rev 4:4 round about the throne were four and twenty seats: and upon the seats I saw four and twenty Elders sitting, cloathed in white raiment; and they had on their heads crowns of gold.
Rev 4:5 out of the throne proceeded lightnings, and thundrings, and voices: and there were seven lamps of fire burning before the throne, which are the seven spirits of God.
Rev 4:6 Before the throne there was a sea of glass like unto crystal: and towards the throne, and round about the throne were four ANIMALS full of eyes before and behind.
Rev 4:7 the first animal was like a lion, the second animal like a calf, the third animal appear'd like a man, and the fourth animal was like a flying eagle.
Rev 4:8 the four animals had each of them six wings about him, and they were full of eyes within; and they never ceas'd day and night, crying, HOLY, HOLY, HOLY, Lord God ALMIGHTY, WHO WAS, WHO IS, AND WHO WILL BE. and when those animals gave glory,
Rev 4:9 and honour, and thanks to him that sat on the throne, who liveth for ever and ever, the
Rev 4:10 four and twenty elders fell down before him that sat on the throne, and worshipped him that liveth for ever and ever, and cast their crowns before the throne, saying,
Rev 4:11 "thou art worthy, O Lord, to receive glory, and honour, and power: for thou hast created all things, by thy WILL they subsist, and were created."
Rev 5:1 And I saw in the right hand of him that sate on the throne, A BOOK written within and on the backside, sealed with seven SEALS.
Rev 5:2 and I saw a powerful angel proclaiming with a loud voice, "who is worthy to open the book, and to loose the seals thereof."
Rev 5:3 and no one in heaven, nor in earth, nor under the earth, was able to open the book, or to look therein.
Rev 5:4 and I wept much, because no man was found worthy to open and read the book, nor to look therein.
Rev 5:5 and one of the elders said to me, weep not: behold, the lion of the tribe of Juda, the offspring of David, hath prevailed to open the book, and to loose the seven seals thereof.
Rev 5:6 And I beheld, and saw before the throne, in the midst of the four animals, and in the midst of the elders, a lamb which seem'd to have been slain, having seven horns, and seven eyes, which are the seven spirits of God sent forth into all the earth.
Rev 5:7 and he came and took the book out of the right hand of him that sate upon the throne.
Rev 5:8 when he had taken the book, the four animals, and the four and twenty elders fell down before the lamb, every one of them having harps, and golden vials full of odours, which are the prayers of the saints.
Rev 5:9 and they sung a new song, saying, "thou art worthy to take the book, and to open the seals thereof: for thou wast slain, and hast redeemed us to God by thy blood, out of every tribe, and language, and people, and nation;
Rev 5:10 and hast made us kings and priests unto our God: and we shall reign on the earth."
Rev 5:11 Then in my vision I heard the voice of many angels which surrounded the throne, the animals, and the elders: to the number of ten thousand times ten thousand, and thousands of thousands;
Rev 5:12 saying with a loud voice, "worthy is the lamb that was slain to receive power, and riches, and wisdom, and strength, and honour, and glory, and blessing."
Rev 5:13 and every creature which is in heaven, on the earth, under the earth, and such as are in the sea, and all that are in them, heard I, saying, "blessing, and honour, and glory, and power be unto him that sitteth upon the throne, and unto the lamb for ever and ever."
Rev 5:14 and the four animals said, amen. and the four and twenty elders fell down and worshipped him that liveth for ever and ever.
Rev 6:1 Then I saw the lamb open one of the seals, when I heard one of the four animals with a voice like thunder, say, "come, and see."
Rev 6:2 I look'd, and there was a white horse; and he that sat on him had a bow, and a crown was given unto him, and he went forth like a conqueror, to gain conquests.
Rev 6:3 When he had opened the second seal, I heard the second animal say, "come and see."
Rev 6:4 and there went out another horse that was red: and power was given to him that sat thereon, to banish peace from the land, and to make men kill one another: and there was given unto him a great sword.
Rev 6:5 When he had opened the third seal, I heard the third animal say, "come and see." and I beheld, and saw a black horse; and he that sat on him had a balance in his hand.
Rev 6:6 and I heard a voice from amidst the four animals say, " a measure of wheat for a penny, and three measures of barley for a penny; but don't touch the oil and the wine."
Rev 6:7 When he had opened the fourth seal, I heard the voice of the fourth animal say, "come and see."
Rev 6:8 and I looked, and there was a pale horse; the name of him that sat thereon was DEATH, and the Grave followed with him: and power was given to them, over the fourth part of the land to kill with sword, with famine, with pestilence, and with wild beasts.
Rev 6:9 When he had opened the fifth seal, I saw under the altar the souls of those that were slain for the word of God, and for the testimony which they maintain'd.
Rev 6:10 and they cried with a loud voice, saying, "how long, O Lord, holy and true, dost thou defer doing justice, and avenging our blood on those that dwell on the earth?"
Rev 6:11 and white robes were given to every one of them, and it was said unto them, that they should have patience yet for a little while, till the number of their fellow-servants, and their brethren, that should be killed, as they were, should be complete.
Rev 6:12 And when I beheld the opening of the sixth seal, there was a great earthquake: the sun became black as sackcloth of hair, and the moon became as blood; the stars
Rev 6:13 of heaven fell down to the earth, even as a fig-tree casteth its untimely figs when it is shaken by a mighty wind: the heaven disappeared as a book when it is rolled up:
Rev 6:14 every mountain and island were moved out of their places: the kings of the earth, the great men,
Rev 6:15 the rich men, the chief captains, and the mighty men, every bond-man, and every free-man, bid themselves in the caverns, and in the rocks of the mountains; and said to the mountains, and to the rocks,
Rev 6:16 "fall on us, and hide us from the face of him that sitteth on the throne, and from the wrath of the lamb:
Rev 6:17 for the great day of his wrath is come; and who shall be able to subsist?"
Rev 7:1 After these things, I saw FOUR ANGELS standing on the four corners of the land, holding the four winds of the land, that the wind should not blow on the land, nor on the sea, nor on any tree.
Rev 7:2 and I saw another angel ascending from the east, having the seal of the living God: and he cried with a loud vioce to the four angels, to whom it was given to hurt the earth and the sea,
Rev 7:3 saying, "hurt not the earth, nor the sea, nor the trees, till we have sealed the servants of our God in their foreheads."
Rev 7:4 And I heard the number of those who were sealed: and there were sealed an hundred forty and four thousand, of all the tribes of the children of Israel.
Rev 7:5 of the tribe of Juda were sealed twelve thousand. of the tribe of Reuben were sealed twelve thousand. of the tribe of Gad were sealed twelve thousand.
Rev 7:6 of the tribe of Aser were sealed twelve thousand. of the tribe of Nephthalim were sealed twelve thousand. of the tribe of Manasses were sealed twelve thousand.
Rev 7:7 of the tribe of Simeon were sealed twelve thousand. of the tribe of Levi were sealed twelve thousand. of the tribe of Isachar were sealed twelve thousand.
Rev 7:8 of the tribe of Zabulon were sealed twelve thousand. of the tribe of Joseph were sealed twelve thousand. of the tribe of Benjamin were sealed twelve thousand.
Rev 7:9 After this I beheld, and there was a great multitude, which no man could number, of every nation, tribe, people, and language, who stood before the throne, and before the lamb cloathed in white robes, having palms in their hands.
Rev 7:10 They cried with a loud voice, "salvation from our God who sits upon the throne, and unto the lamb.'
Rev 7:11 and all the angels who stood round about the throne, and about the elders, and the four animals fell before the throne on their faces, and worshipped God, saying, amen:
Rev 7:12 praise, and glory, and wisdom, and thanksgiving, and honour, and power, and might be to our God for ever and ever. amen.
Rev 7:13 Then one of the elders spake, and said to me, who are those that are arrayed in white robes? and whence do they come?
Rev 7:14 my Lord, answer'd I, you can tell. and he said to me, these are they who came out of great tribulation, and have washed their robes, and made them white in the blood of the lamb.
Rev 7:15 therefore are they before the throne of God, and serve him day and night in his temple: and he that sitteth on the throne shall cover them, as a pavillion.
Rev 7:16 they shall no more suffer hunger or thirst, neither shall the sun dart on them, nor any heat molest them.
Rev 7:17 for the lamb who is in the midst before the throne, shall feed them, and shall lead them to living fountains of waters: and God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes.
Rev 8:1 At the opening of the SEVENTH SEAL, there was silence in heaven about the space of half an hour.
Rev 8:2 Then I saw the seven angels who attend in the presence of God; and to them were given seven trumpets.
Rev 8:3 and another angel came and stood at the altar, having a golden censer; and there was given to him much incense, that he should offer it with the prayers of all the saints upon the golden altar, which was before the throne.
Rev 8:4 and the smoke of the incense together with the prayers of the saints, ascended up before God, out of the angel's hand.
Rev 8:5 and the angel took the censer, and having filled it with the fire of the altar, he cast it upon the land: and there was a noise of thunders, and lightnings, and an earthquake.
Rev 8:6 Then the seven angels who had the seven trumpets, prepared themselves to sound.
Rev 8:7 the first angel sounded, and there followed hail and fire mingled with blood, which fell upon the earth: and a third part of the earth, and a third part of the trees was burnt up, and all the green grass.
Rev 8:8 And the second angel sounded, and a great mountain as it were all on fire was cast into the sea; and the third part of the sea became blood:
Rev 8:9 and the third part of the creatures which were in the sea, and had life, died; and the third part of the ships were destroyed.
Rev 8:10 And the third angel sounded, and there fell a great star from heaven, burning like a flambeau, and it fell upon the third part of the rivers, and upon the fountains of waters.
Rev 8:11 the name of the star was wormwood: and the third part of the waters became wormwood; and many men died of the waters, because they were made bitter.
Rev 8:12 And the fourth angel sounded, and the third part of the sun was smitten, and the third part of the moon, and the third part of the stars; so as the third part of them was darkned, and the day lost a third part of its light, and the night likewise.
Rev 8:13 then I beheld, and heard an eagle flying thro' the midst of heaven, saying with a loud voice, wo, wo, wo to the inhabitants of the earth, by reason of the sound of the trumpets which the other three angels are yet to sound.
Rev 9:1 And the fifth angel sounded, and I saw a star fall from heaven unto the earth: and to him was given the key of the bottomless pit.
Rev 9:2 and he opened the bottomless pit, and there arose a smoke out of the pit, as the smoke of a great furnace; and the sun and the air were darkned by reason of the smoke of the pit.
Rev 9:3 and there came out of the smoke locusts upon the land; and to them was given power, as the scorpions of the earth have power.
Rev 9:4 and they were commanded not to hurt the fruits of the earth, nor any green thing, nor any tree; but those men who have not the seal of God in their foreheads.
Rev 9:5 and to them was power given, not to kill them, but to torment them five months: and their pain was like the pain which a scorpion produces when it strikes a man.
Rev 9:6 in those days shall men seek for death, but shall not find it; they will desire to die, and death will shun them.
Rev 9:7 the figure of the locusts were like that of horses prepared to battle; but on their heads they had, as it were, crowns like gold, and their faces were as the faces of men.
Rev 9:8 their hair was like that of women, and their teeth like the teeth of lions.
Rev 9:9 they were vested with breast-plates, as it were of iron; and the sound of their wings was like the sound of chariots and many horses running to battle.
Rev 9:10 they had stings in their tails like scorpions; and they had leave to molest men for five months with their stings.
Rev 9:11 they had for their king the angel of the bottomless pit, whose name in the Hebrew tongue is Abaddon, but in the Greek his name is Apollyon.
Rev 9:12 One wo is past, and now two woes are to follow.
Rev 9:13 then the sixth angel sounded, and I heard a voice from the four horns of the golden altar, which is before God,
Rev 9:14 saying to the sixth angel who had the trumpet, "loose the four angels which are bound in the great river Euphrates."
Rev 9:15 and the four angels were loosed, who were prepared for an hour, and a day, and a month, and a year, to slay the third part of men.
Rev 9:16 and the number of the horse of that army were two hundred millions: for I heard them number'd.
Rev 9:17 the horses I saw in my vision had this appearance: the riders had breast-plates of fire, of jacinth, and brimstone: the heads of the horses were like the heads of lions; and out of their mouths issued fire, smoke, and brimstone.
Rev 9:18 by these three the third part of men were killed, by the fire, by the smoke, and by the brimstone, which issued out of their mouths.
Rev 9:19 for the power of these horses is in their mouths, and in their tails: for their tails were like serpents, and had heads, with which they do mischief.
Rev 9:20 As for the rest of the men who were not killed by these plagues, they did not repent of their evil actions, so as to forbear worshipping demons, and idols of gold and silver, and brass, and stone, and of wood: which can neither see, nor hear, nor walk:
Rev 9:21 nor did they repent of their murders, of their poisoning, of their brutality, nor of their robberys.
Rev 10:1 Then I saw another mighty angel come down from heaven, invested with a cloud, a rainbow was upon his head, his face was like the sun, and his feet like pillars of fire.
Rev 10:2 he held in his hand a little book open: his right foot was upon the sea, and his left foot on the land.
Rev 10:3 his voice was as loud as the roaring of a lion: and when he had cried, seven thunders uttered their voices.
Rev 10:4 and when the seven thunders had uttered their voices, I was about to write: but I heard a voice saying to me, "seal up those things which the seven thunders uttered, and write them not."
Rev 10:5 Then the angel which I saw standing upon the sea, and upon the land, lifted up his hand to heaven,
Rev 10:6 and sware by him that liveth for ever and ever, who created the heaven and all that is therein, the earth and all that is therein, the sea and all that is therein, "that the time should be no longer defer'd."
Rev 10:7 but when the seventh angel should speak, and the trumpet should sound, the mystery of God should be accomplish'd, as he hath declared to his servants the prophets.
Rev 10:8 And the voice which I heard from heaven, spake to me again, and said, "go, take the little book that is open, from the hand of the angel who stands upon the sea, and upon the land."
Rev 10:9 so I went to the angel, and said to him, "give me the little book." and he said to me, "take it, and eat it up; it shall prove bitter in thy bowels, but in thy mouth it shall be as sweet as honey."
Rev 10:10 immediately having took the little book out of the angel's hand, I swallowed it down: and in my mouth it was as sweet as honey: but as soon as I had swallowed it, it was bitter within me.
Rev 10:11 then he said to me, "thou must prophesy again of many people, nations, provinces, and kings."
Rev 11:1 Then there was given me a reed like a rod: with this direction, rise and measure the temple of God, with the altar, and those that worship therein.
Rev 11:2 but don't measure the court which is without; for it is given to the Gentiles: and the holy city shall they trample under foot two and forty months.
Rev 11:3 by virtue of my power, my two witnesses shall prophesy a thousand two hundred and threescore days cloathed in sackcloth.
Rev 11:4 these are the two olive-trees, and the two candlesticks standing before the Lord of the earth.
Rev 11:5 if any man should offer to hurt them, fire will proceed out of their mouth, and destroy their enemies: whoever should hurt them, would by this means perish.
Rev 11:6 during their prophecy they have power to prevent any rain descending from heaven: their power extends over waters to turn them to blood, and to smite the earth with what plagues they please.
Rev 11:7 when they shall have finished their testimony, the beast that ascends out of the bottomless pit, will make war against them, overcome them, and kill them.
Rev 11:8 their dead bodies shall lie in the street of the great city, which in the mystical stile is called Sodom and Egypt, where our Lord was crucified.
Rev 11:9 the people of different tribes, languages, and nations shall see their dead bodies three days and an half, and not suffer them to be buried in the grave.
Rev 11:10 the inhabitants of the land will rejoice, and triumph over them, they will send presents to one another; because the two prophets had gall'd the inhabitants of the land.
Rev 11:11 but after three days and an half, the spirit of life from God enter'd into them: they stood upon their feet, and great fear fell upon those who saw them.
Rev 11:12 then they heard a great voice from heaven, saying to them, "come up hither." and they ascended up to heaven in a cloud, and their enemies beheld them.
Rev 11:13 at the same time there was a great earthquake; the tenth part of the city fell, and in the earthquake seven thousand men were slain: and the remnant were frighted, and gave glory to the God of heaven.
Rev 11:14 the second wo is past, and behold, the third wo soon follows.
Rev 11:15 The seventh angel sounded, and there were great voices in heaven, crying, "the kingdom of this world is become the kingdom of our Lord, and of his Christ, and he shall reign for ever and ever."
Rev 11:16 then the four and twenty elders, who sat before God on their thrones, fell upon their faces, and worshipped God,
Rev 11:17 saying, "we give thee thanks, O Lord God almighty, who. art, and who wast; because thou hast assum'd thy great power, and hast reigned.
Rev 11:18 the nations were enrag'd, but the time of thy vengeance is come, and the time when the dead are to be judged, when thou wilt reward thy servants the prophets, the saints, and those that fear thy name, small and great, and exterminate those who have corrupted the land."
Rev 11:19 THEN the temple of God was opened in heaven, and there was seen in his temple the ark of his testament: and there were lightnings, voices, and thunders, and an earthquake, and great hail.
Rev 12:1 and there appeared a great wonder in heaven, a WOMAN invested with glory like the sun: the moon was under her feet, and upon her head a crown of twelve stars:
Rev 12:2 she was with child, and cried in her labour with the pangs of her delivery.
Rev 12:3 And there appeared another wonder in heaven, it was a great red dragon, having seven heads, and ten horns, and seven crowns upon his heads.
Rev 12:4 his tail swept the third part of the stars of heaven; and cast them to the earth: and the dragon stood before the woman who was ready to be delivered, in order to devour her child as soon as it was born.
Rev 12:5 and she brought forth a man-child, who was to rule all nations with a rod of iron: and her child was caught up to be with God, and about his throne.
Rev 12:6 but the woman fled into the wilderness, where God had prepared a place for her maintenance, during a thousand two hundred and threescore days.
Rev 12:7 Then there was war in heaven; Michael and his angels fought against the dragon; on the other side fought the dragon with his angels: but these were defeated,
Rev 12:8 they lost their place in heaven:
Rev 12:9 the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, call'd the devil or satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast down to the earth, and his angels were precipitated with him.
Rev 12:10 then I heard a loud voice, which cry'd in the heaven, "the time of salvation, and power, the kingdom of our God, and the authority of his Christ are now come: for the accuser of our brethren, who accused them before our God day and night, is cast down.
Rev 12:11 they overcame him by the blood of the lamb, and by the word to which they gave testimony; for their lives they expos'd to the last.
Rev 12:12 therefore rejoice, ye heavens, and ye that dwell in them. WO to the land, and to the sea: for the devil is come down unto you, in great rage, because he knows that his time is but short."
Rev 12:13 The dragon then finding that he was precipitated to the earth, persecuted the woman, who brought forth the man-child.
Rev 12:14 but to the woman were given two wings of a great eagle, that she might fly from the serpent into the wilderness, to her place, where she is to be maintain'd for a time, and times, and half a time.
Rev 12:15 and the serpent spouted from his throat a flood of water, after the woman, in order to drown her with the flood.
Rev 12:16 but the earth helped the woman, for the earth opened its jaws, and swallowed up the flood which the dragon threw out of his throat,
Rev 12:17 which so enrag'd the dragon against the woman, that he went to make war with the rest of her race, who keep the commandments of God, and bear testimony to Jesus.
Rev 12:18 and he stood upon the sea-shore.
Rev 13:1 Then I saw a beast rise up out of the sea, having seven heads, and ten horns; upon his horns were ten crowns, and upon his heads the name of blasphemy.
Rev 13:2 and the beast which I saw was like a leopard, his feet were as the feet of a bear, and his mouth as the mouth of a lion: and the dragon gave him his power, and his throne, and great authority.
Rev 13:3 and I saw one of his heads, as it were wounded to death; and his deadly wound was healed: and all the world went wondring after the beast.
Rev 13:4 They worshipped the dragon which had given his power to the beast: and they worshipped the beast, saying, "who is like unto the beast? who is able to make war with him?"
Rev 13:5 there was given to him a mouth speaking great things, and blasphemy; and power was given to him for two and forty months.
Rev 13:6 and he opened his mouth in blasphemy against God, to blaspheme his name, and his tabernacle, and those that dwell in heaven,
Rev 13:7 he was permitted to make war with the saints, and to overcome them: and power was given him over all the tribes, and provinces, and nations.
Rev 13:8 all that dwell upon the earth will worship him, whose names are not written from the foundation of the world in the book of life of the lamb, that was slain.
Rev 13:9 if any man have an ear, let him hear.
Rev 13:10 he hath leadeth into captivity, shall be led into captivity: he that killeth with the sword, shall perish by the sword. here is the patience and the faith of the saints.
Rev 13:11 Then I beheld another beast coming out of the earth, it had two horns like a lamb, but it spake like a dragon.
Rev 13:12 he exercised all the power of the first beast by his authority, and caused the earth, and those who dwell therein, to worship the first beast, whose deadly wound was healed.
Rev 13:13 he perform'd great wonders, so as to make fire come down from heaven on the earth, in the sight of men.
Rev 13:14 and he deceived the inhabitants of the earth, by the prodigys which he had power to effect by the influence of the beast, by telling the inhabitants of the earth, that he had made an image to the beast, which had the wound by a sword, but yet did revive.
Rev 13:15 he had power likewise to animate the image made for the beast, so that the image was made to speak, and as many as would not worship the image were order'd to be killed.
Rev 13:16 he likewise obliged all, both small and great, rich and poor, the freeman and the slave, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads: and order'd,
Rev 13:17 that no body should buy or sell unless he had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name.
Rev 13:18 here is wisdom. let him that hath understanding count the number of the beast: for it is the number of a man; and his number is six hundred sixty six.
Rev 14:1 THEN I looked, and I saw a lamb on mount Sion, and with him an hundred forty and four thousand, having his name and his father's name writ on their foreheads.
Rev 14:2 and I heard a voice from heaven, which was like the noise of many waters, or like a great thunder-clap: I heard too a sound like that of a harp, when touch'd by the hand of a musician.
Rev 14:3 and a new song was sung before the throne, and before the four animals, and the elders: and no one could learn that song, but the hundred forty four thousand, who were ransom'd from the earth.
Rev 14:4 these are they who were not defiled with women: for they are virgins: these are they who follow the lamb wherever he goes: these were ransom'd from among men, being the first fruits unto God, and to the lamb.
Rev 14:5 in their mouth was found no guile: for they are without defect.
Rev 14:6 Then I saw another angel fly in the mid-heaven, having the everlasting gospel to preach to those that dwell on the earth, to every nation, tribe, province, and people, crying with a loud voice,
Rev 14:7 "fear the Lord, and give glory to him, for the hour of his judgment is come: adore therefore him that made the heaven, the earth, the sea, and the fountains."
Rev 14:8 And a second angel followed, saying, "Babylon the great is fallen, is fallen, because she has made all nations drink of the deadly wine of her fornication."
Rev 14:9 And a third angel followed them, crying with a loud voice, "if any man worship the beast, or his image, or receive his mark on his forehead, or in his hand,
Rev 14:10 he shall drink of the wine of the divine vengeance, the strongest wine that can be poured out of the cup of his indignation; He shall be tormented with fire and brimstone, in the presence of the holy angels, and in the presence of the lamb:
Rev 14:11 the smoke of their torment shall ascend for ever and ever: they who worship the beast or his image, they who receive the mark of his name, shall have no rest either day or night."
Rev 14:12 here is the patience of the saints, who keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus.
Rev 14:13 Then I heard a voice from heaven, saying to me, "write, blessed are the dead who die in the Lord; yes, from henceforth, saith the spirit, they shall rest from their labours; and the recompence of their labours shall follow them."
Rev 14:14 again I looked, and I saw a white cloud, and there was sitting upon the cloud one like the son of man, having a crown of gold upon his head,
Rev 14:15 and a sharp sickle in his hand. and another angel came out of the temple, crying with a loud voice to him that sat on the cloud, "thrust in thy sickle, and reap: for the reaping time is come; for the
Rev 14:16 harvest of the earth is ripe." so he that sat on the cloud, stretch'd out his sickle to the earth; and the earth was reaped.
Rev 14:17 Then another angel came out of the temple which is in heaven,
Rev 14:18 he also having a sharp sickle. and another angel came out from the altar, who presided over the fire; and cried with a loud cry to him that had the sharp sickle, "stretch out thy sharp sickle, and gather the clusters of the vine of the earth; for her grapes are full ripe."
Rev 14:19 so the angel stretch'd out his sickle to the earth, and gathered the vintage of the earth, and cast it into the great wine-press of the divine vengeance.
Rev 14:20 and the grapes were press'd without the City, and blood came out of the wine-press, even to the horse-bridles: for the space of sixteen hundred furlongs.
Rev 15:1 I saw another prodigy in heaven, great and marvellous, SEVEN ANGELS, having the seven last plagues, for by them the divine vengeance is consummated.
Rev 15:2 and I saw as it were a sea of glass, mingled with fire; and those that had been victorious over the beast, and over his image, and over the number of his name, standing on the sea of glass, with their divine harps in their hands.
Rev 15:3 and they sung the song of Moses, the servant of God, and the song of the lamb, saying, "great and marvellous are thy works, Lord God almighty; just and true are thy ways, thou king of ages.
Rev 15:4 who will not fear thee, O Lord, and glorify thy name? for thou only art holy: and all nations shall come to adore thee; because thy judgments have been display'd."
Rev 15:5 After that I looked, and the tabernacle of the testimony in the heavenly temple was opened:
Rev 15:6 then the seven angels, who held the seven plagues, came out of the temple, cloathed in pure white linen, wearing upon their breasts girdles of gold.
Rev 15:7 and one of the four animals gave to the seven angels, seven golden vials full of the wrath of God, who liveth for ever and ever.
Rev 15:8 the temple was filled with smoke from the emanations of divine power; and no one could enter into the temple, till the seven plagues were executed by the seven angels.
Rev 16:1 THEN I heard a terrible voice from the temple, crying to the seven angels, "go pour out the VIALS of divine vengeance upon the earth."
Rev 16:2 Immediately the FIRST went, and poured out his vial upon the earth; and there fell a noisom and grievous ulcer upon the men who had the mark of the beast, and upon those who worshipped his image.
Rev 16:3 The SECOND angel poured out his vial upon the sea; and it became as the blood of a dead man: and every living soul died in the sea.
Rev 16:4 The THIRD angel poured out his vial upon the rivers and fountains; and they became blood.
Rev 16:5 and I heard the angel of the waters say, "thou art just, who art, and hast always been holy, because thou hast judged thus:
Rev 16:6 for they have shed the blood of saints and prophets: thou hast given them blood to drink; for they have deserv'd it."
Rev 16:7 and I heard another from the altar say, "oh! Lord God almighty, true and just are thy judgments."
Rev 16:8 The FOURTH angel poured out his vial upon the sun; and power was given to him to scorch mankind with its fire.
Rev 16:9 and men were scorched with great heat, and blasphemed the name of God, who hath power over these plagues: and they repented not, to give him glory.
Rev 16:10 And the FIFTH angel poured out his vial upon the seat of the beast; and his kingdom was full of darkness, and they gnawed their tongues for pain.
Rev 16:11 and blasphemed the God of heaven, because of their pains and their sores, and repented not of their deeds.
Rev 16:12 And the SIXTH angel poured out his vial upon the great river Euphrates; and the water thereof was dried up, that the way of the kings of the east might be prepared.
Rev 16:13 and I saw three unclean spirits like frogs come out of the mouth of the dragon, and out of the mouth of the beast, and out of the mouth of the false prophet.
Rev 16:14 for they are the spirits of demons working miracles, which make a progress to the kings of the whole world, to gather them to the battle of that great day of God almighty.
Rev 16:15 "I shall come with surprize, happy he that is upon the watch, and keepeth his garments pure, that his vices may not put him to shame."
Rev 16:16 and he gathered them together into a place called in the Hebrew tongue, Armageddon.
Rev 16:17 And the SEVENTH angel poured out his vial into the air; and there a loud voice issued from the temple of heaven, from the throne, saying, "it is done."
Rev 16:18 and there were voices, thunders, and lightnings; and there was a great earthquake, such as was not since men were upon the earth, so mighty an earthquake and so great.
Rev 16:19 and the great city was divided into three parts, and the cities of the nations fell: and great Babylon came in remembrance before God, to give unto her the cup of the wine of the fierceness of his wrath.
Rev 16:20 and every island fled away, and the mountains were not found.
Rev 16:21 and there fell upon men a great hail out of heaven, every stone about the weight of a TALENT: and men blasphemed God because of the plague of the hail, for the plague thereof was exceeding great.
Rev 17:1 Then there came one of the seven angels that had the seven vials, and talked with me, saying "come hither, I will explain to you the judgment of the great whore, that sitteth upon many waters:
Rev 17:2 by whom the kings of the earth became idolaters, and the inhabiters of the earth have been made drunk with the wine of idolatry."
Rev 17:3 so he carried me away in the spirit into the wilderness: and I saw a woman sit upon a scarlet-coloured beast, full of names of blasphemy, having seven heads, and ten horns.
Rev 17:4 and the woman was arrayed in purple, and scarlet colour, and decked with gold and precious stone and pearls, having a golden cup in her hand, full of the abominable impurities of idolatry.
Rev 17:5 Upon her forehead this mystical title was written, Babylon the great, the mother of harlots, and abominations of the earth.
Rev 17:6 and I saw the woman drunken with the blood of the saints, and with the blood of the martyrs of Jesus: and when I saw her, I wondred with great admiration.
Rev 17:7 and the angel said to me, wherefore didst thou marvel? I will tell thee the mystical meaning of the woman, and of the beast that carrieth her, which hath the seven heads and ten horns.
Rev 17:8 the beast that thou sawest, was, and is not; and shall ascend out of the bottomless pit, and go into perdition: and they that dwell on the earth, whose names were not written in the book of life from the foundation of the world, shall wonder when they behold the beast that was, and is not, but shall be.
Rev 17:9 the meaning is very comprehensive. The seven heads are seven mountains, on which the woman sitteth.
Rev 17:10 they likewise signify seven kings: five are fallen, and one is, and the other is not yet come; when he comes, he will continue but a short space.
Rev 17:11 the beast that was, and is not, is himself the eighth: he is of the seven, and shall be destroy'd.
Rev 17:12 the ten horns which you saw, are ten kings, who have received no kingdom as yet; but receive power as kings for a while with the beast.
Rev 17:13 they all agree in this, to give their power and strength to the beast.
Rev 17:14 they will make war with the lamb, but the lamb, who is lord of lords, and king of kings, together with those that are called, chosen, and faithful, shall overcome them.
Rev 17:15 Then he said to me, the waters which you saw, where the prostitute has her seat, are the people, the multitude, nations, and provinces.
Rev 17:16 the ten horns which you saw upon the beast, they shall hate the whore, they shall plunder, and strip her, eat her flesh, and burn her with fire.
Rev 17:17 for God hath put it in their hearts to execute his designs, in agreeing to give their kingdom to the beast, until the divine oracles shall be accomplished.
Rev 17:18 and the woman which you saw, is that great city, which reigns the empress of the kings of the earth.
Rev 18:1 After this I saw another angel come down from heaven, having great power; and the earth was lightned with his glory.
Rev 18:2 and he cried with a strong voice, Babylon the great is fallen, is fallen, and is become the abode of demons, the dungeon of every foul spirit, and a cage of every impure ill-boding bird.
Rev 18:3 for all nations have drunk of the poisonous wine of her idolatry, the kings of the earth have submitted to her idolatries, and the merchants of the earth are grown rich through the abundance of her delicacies.
Rev 18:4 And I heard another voice from heaven, saying, come out of her, my people, that ye may not be partakers of her sins, nor share in her plagues:
Rev 18:5 for her sins have reached unto heaven, and God hath remembred her iniquities.
Rev 18:6 reward her according to her dealings, and repay her double, according to her works: give her twice as much in the same cup which she gave you to drink,
Rev 18:7 give her torment and pain in proportion to her pride and luxury; for she said in her heart, "I am enthron'd like a queen, I am no widow, and shall see no sorrow."
Rev 18:8 therefore shall her plagues come, mortality, mourning, and famine all at once: and she shall be consumed with fire: for the Lord God, who condemns her, is almighty.
Rev 18:9 the kings of the earth, the accomplices of her licentiousness and luxury, shall bewail her, and lament for her, when they shall see the smoke of her conflagration,
Rev 18:10 frightned at her torments they will stand afar off, and cry, "alas, alas, that great city Babylon, that mighty city! what! is thy condemnation so suddenly come?"
Rev 18:11 the merchants of the earth shall bewail and mourn over her, because there are none to purchase their cargo:
Rev 18:12 their gold, and silver, precious stones, and pearls, fine linnen, and purple, their silk, scarlet, and all sort of citron wood, their various vessels of ivory, and of precious wood, of brass, iron, and marble:
Rev 18:13 nor their cinnamon, perfumes, essences, and frankincense; nor their wine, oil, fine flour, and wheat; their cattle, sheep, horses, and chariots; nor the servile souls of men.
Rev 18:14 the fruits, the object of your delight, are departed from thee, all your delicacy and magnificence are lost, beyond the possibility of a recovery! the merchants
Rev 18:15 of these wares who were enrich'd by her, shall stand afar off, under the dread of her torments, with tears and lamentations,
Rev 18:16 crying, alas, alas, that great city, that was cloathed in fine linnen, purple, and scarlet: decked with gold, precious stones and pearls:
Rev 18:17 her wealth is all sunk in a moment! the pilots and the passengers: the ships-crew, and the super-cargo's shall stand afar off,
Rev 18:18 and cry out, when they see the smoke of her burning, what city could be compar'd to this great city?
Rev 18:19 they will scatter dust on their heads, and cry with tears, and bemoaning, "alas, alas, that great city, which enrich'd all the traders by sea, by the consumption she made: how is she reduc'd to a desert, in an instant!"
Rev 18:20 O heaven, and ye holy apostles and prophets, triumph at her ruin, since God hath avenged you on her.
Rev 18:21 Then a mighty angel took up a stone like a great milstone, and threw it into the sea, saying, "thus with violence shall that great city Babylon be thrown down, never to be found any more.
Rev 18:22 the musick of the harp, of the flute, and of the trumpet, shall never be heard again in thee: no artist of any kind shall be found again in thee; the sound of a milstone shall never be heard again in thee;
Rev 18:23 the lamp shall no more be lighted in thee; the bridal-song shall be heard there no more: for thy merchants were the great men of the earth; all nations were seduc'd by thy enchantments.
Rev 18:24 here it was, that the blood of the prophets, of the saints, and of all that were slain upon the earth, was found."
Rev 19:1 And after these things I heard a great voice of a numerous multitude in heaven, saying, "alleluia; salvation, glory, honour, and power unto the Lord our God:
Rev 19:2 for just and right are his judgments; for he hath condemned the grand prostitute, who corrupted the earth with her licentiousness, and hath avenged the blood of his servants that were shed by her hand."
Rev 19:3 again they said, "alleluia." and her smoke. rose up for ever and ever.
Rev 19:4 Then the four and twenty elders, and the four animals fell down and worshipped God that sat on the throne, saying, "amen; alleluia."
Rev 19:5 and a voice came out of the throne, saying, "praise our God, all ye his servants, and ye that fear him, both small and great."
Rev 19:6 and I heard as it were the voice of a great multitude, which was like the sound of many waters, or like a volley of thunder, saying, "alleluia: for the Lord God omnipotent does reign."
Rev 19:7 let us rejoyce, and triumph, and give honour to him: for the marriage of the lamb is come, and his spouse is already adorn'd.
Rev 19:8 for she was permitted to be arrayed in fine linnen, clean and white: for the fine linnen represents the virtues of the saints."
Rev 19:9 and he said unto me, "write, happy are they who are invited to the marriage-supper of the lamb." and he said to me, "thus I have delivered the real oracles of God."
Rev 19:10 then I fell at his seet to worship him: but he said to me, "forbear: I am the servant of God, as you and your brethren are, that bear testimony to Jesus: worship God: for to give testimony to Jesus, is the very design of prophecy."
Rev 19:11 Then I saw heaven opened, and a white horse appear'd; and he that sat upon him was called the faithful and the true: in righteousness he judges and makes war:
Rev 19:12 his eyes were as a flame of fire, on his head were many crowns: and a name inscrib'd which no one comprehended, but himself:
Rev 19:13 he had a vesture dipt in blood: and his name is called, the logos of God.
Rev 19:14 and the armies of heaven followed him upon white horses, cloathed in fine linnen, white and clean.
Rev 19:15 out of his mouth went a sharp sword, in order to smite the nations: for he shall rule them with an iron sceptre: and tread the wine-press of the fierce vengeance of almighty God.
Rev 19:16 on the mantle about his thigh was this inscription, KING OF KINGS, AND LORD OF LORDS.
Rev 19:17 I saw likewise an angel standing upon the sun; and he cryed with a loud voice, saying to all the fowls that fly in the midst of heaven, "come and gather your selves together to the supper of the great God;
Rev 19:18 that ye may eat the flesh of kings, the flesh of captains, the flesh of mighty men, the flesh of horses, and of those that ride on them, the flesh of all that are free, and all that are slaves, both small and great."
Rev 19:19 Then I saw the beast, and the kings of the earth, with their armies assembled, to make war against him that sat on the horse, and against his army.
Rev 19:20 and the beast was taken, and with him the false prophet that wrought miracles in his favour, by which he seduc'd those that had received the mark of the beast, and those that worshipped his image. these were both cast alive into a lake of fire burning with brimstone.
Rev 19:21 all the rest were slain with the sword of him that sat upon the horse, which sword proceeded out of his mouth: and all the fowls were satiated with their flesh.
Rev 20:1 Afterwards I saw an angel come down from heaven, having the key of the bottomless pit, with a great chain in his hand.
Rev 20:2 and he laid hold on the dragon, that old serpent, which is the devil and satan, and bound him for a thousand years,
Rev 20:3 then cast him into the bottomless pit, there shut him up, and set a seal upon him, that he should seduce the nations no more, till the thousand years should he fulfilled: and after that, he was to be loosed for a short time.
Rev 20:4 I saw likewise thrones, where persons were seated, to whom the power of judging was given: and I saw the souls of those that were beheaded for the testimony they had given to Jesus, and for the word of God, who had not worshipped the beast, nor his image, nor had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years.
Rev 20:5 but the rest of the dead shall not live again until the thousand years are finished. this is the first resurrection.
Rev 20:6 happy and holy are they that have part in the first resurrection: on such the second death hath no power, but they shall be priests of God, and of Christ, and shall reign with him a thousand years.
Rev 20:7 When the thousand years are expired, Satan shall be loosed out of his prison,
Rev 20:8 and shall go out to seduce the nations, which are in the four quarters of the earth, Gog and Magog, to assemble them to battle: they will be as numerous as the sand of the sea.
Rev 20:9 they will spread on the surface of the earth, and encompass the camp of the saints, and the beloved city: and fire shall descend from God out of heaven, and devour them.
Rev 20:10 the devil that seduced them, shall be cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are, and shall be tormented day and night for ever and ever.
Rev 20:11 Then I saw a great white throne, and him that sat on it, from whose presence the earth and the heaven fled away, so that they disappear'd.
Rev 20:12 and I saw the dead, small and great, stand before the throne; the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out. of those things which were written in the books, according to their works.
Rev 20:13 the sea gave up the dead which were in it; death and the grave delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every one according to their works.
Rev 20:14 and death and the grave were cast into the lake of fire: this is the second death.
Rev 20:15 and whosoever was not found written in the book of life, was cast into the lake of fire.
Rev 21:1 Afterwards I saw a new heaven, and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were vanished; and there was no more sea .
Rev 21:2 and I saw the holy city, the new Jerusalem, descend from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.
Rev 21:3 then I heard a great voice out of heaven, saying, "behold, the tabernacle of God is with men: he will dwell with them, they shall be his people, God himself shall be with them, as their God.
Rev 21:4 God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; there shall be no more death, sorrow, or crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former state of things is passed away." he that sat upon the throne, said,
Rev 21:5 "behold, I make all things new." and he said write: "for these words are true and authentic."
Rev 21:6 and he said to me, "it is done. I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end: to him that is a-thirst I will freely give of the fountain of living water.
Rev 21:7 he that overcomes, shall inherit these things: I will be his God, and he shall be my son.
Rev 21:8 but the fearful, and incredulous, the abominable, the murderer, the licentious, the poisoner, the idolater, and every lyar shall have their part in the lake which burns with fire and brimstone: this is the second death."
Rev 21:9 Then there came to me one of the seven angels, who had the seven vials full of the seven last plagues, and talked with me, saying, "come hither, I will shew thee the bride, the lamb's wife."
Rev 21:10 and he carried me away in an extacy to a great and high mountain, and shewed me the city, the holy Jerusalem, descending out of heaven from God.
Rev 21:11 it blaz'd with the glory of God: her luminary was like that of a brilliant, even like a jasper, as transparent as crystal.
Rev 21:12 her walls were large and high; the gates were twelve; and at the gates twelve angels, with the names of the twelve tribes of the children of Israel inscrib'd thereon.
Rev 21:13 on the east were three gates; on the north, three gates; on the south, three gates; and three gates on the west.
Rev 21:14 the wall of the city had twelve foundations, and on them the names of the twelve apostles of the lamb.
Rev 21:15 he that talked with me, had a golden reed to measure the city, its gates, and its walls.
Rev 21:16 the city was a square, the length being as large as the breadth: he measured the city with the reed, and found it twelve thousand furlongs: the length, the breadth, and the height of it were equal.
Rev 21:17 he measured the wall, and it was an hundred and forty four cubits, according to the common measure, which was what the angel employed.
